Tasty Catering

I have been using Tasty Catering for about 5 years now, and let me tell you - they never miss!! Shari is an absolute pleasure to work with. Not to mention, no matter what meal I choose, they always knock it out of the park. They are always on time, neat, and organized. I get compliments on compliments and I always be sure to tell them - I ordered from Tasty!

They catered a memorial service we arranged. Carolyn was great to work with and everyone really enjoyed the food. The food also arrived right on time and was nicely set up. Highly recommended!

Tasty Catering was our caterer for our wedding this weekend and they were absolutely AMAZING to work with!! Carolyn is FANTASTIC. She thought of every detail to make our day perfect, was so kind, and was so easy to communicate with. Every staff member at our wedding was so kind, accommodating, and attentive, especially our wedding captain, Terri! The food was PERFECT, so delicious. We really recommend the champagne chicken. I would recommend everyone use Tasty Catering for their wedding!

Tasty Catering is the best catering company in the Chicagoland area (and probably the country)! The office staff is so helpful and kind and just the best, the operations team gives the most amazing customer service and truly go above and beyond, and their culinary team makes the most incredible and delicious culinary creations. Whether you're booking a corporate lunch or picnic or party or wedding, if you need catering, this is the company to book!

I ate Tasty Catering at a conference this week and they largely lived up to their name. We had them for both breakfast and lunch.

The breakfast was an array of breads, bagels, muffins and the like as well as juices, water, coffee etc.

Looking at their website it appears we had the Artisan Sandwich Buffet for lunch, with a variety of sandwiches (I had the turkey and brie with lettuce and cranberry-mayo; they all appeared to be a step up from your standard sandwich shop fare) plus pasta salad, tossed salad, chips, drinks and dessert trays with cookies, cheesecake bites etc. The only thing I can knock is if you don't like or are allergic to tomatoes they were in everything except the sandwich I ate.

The staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful. Impressive overall.

We chose to use Tasty Catering for our semi-casual outdoor wedding reception and it was one of the best choices we made in wedding planning.

Carolyn worked with us to decide which type of catering option we wanted to go with and in the end we went with the "authentic mexican tacos" option. We were a little bit nervous, because about half of our guests were Mexican and the other half American, many of whom had likely never had authentic tacos before. However, the number one comment that we received from guests was that the tacos were amazing - many described it as the best wedding food they had EVER had and others described it as the best tacos they had ever had. Multiple guests asked for the name of the catering company and others were sad it wasn't a restaurant that they could get tacos at each week.

The service that day was also amazing. The workers arrived on time, were very friendly and professional, and the white tent set up looked very neat and professional. To make tacos on the grill in the moment for 90 guests can't be easy, but they made it look so, with everything moving along quickly and efficiently.

We are so glad that we chose Tasty Catering and will absolutely go to them again in the future for any catering needs. They went above and beyond.

We used Tasty Catering for our wedding reception in June of 2022. Like many couples, we had to reschedule our 2021 wedding and Tasty Catering made the changes without hesitation.

Our representative, Hannah, was such a pleasure to work with. From day one, her emails and Zoom calls were always professional and took care of all our needs. We planned our wedding from out-of-town and Hannah made it a breeze. She was happy to mail us samples of their linen choices and photos of the chair upgrades.

We were able to do a tasting prior to our wedding and enjoyed the experience. The staff helped us plan our menu to make the most sense of protein, vegetable, and starch pairings. The tasting was done privately in an inviting space.

Our venue required us to use Tasty Catering and both teams complimented each other very well. Their day-of manager was great about communicating with our coordinator to ensure the schedule was being kept. We had 80 guests and their singular bartender was able to keep up with demand without issue.

Tasty provided passed appetizers, open bar, table-side wine service for dinner, and main meal (with salad). We opted to bring our own desserts as we thought the Tasty package was a bit too rich for our budget. Considering we had a wedding cake, our dessert option proved to be a good call. For entrees, we had three options for guests. Ten of our guests were vegan and Tasty did not upcharge us for a fourth meal. We chose the champagne toast addition and Tasty had the glasses full and ready. The Tasty staff helped us break down our decor at the end of the night which was much appreciated.

In all, it was a pleasure working with Tasty Catering and highly recommend their services.

We rely heavily on TASTY CATERING at our business. Why? Because their food and service are always amazing. Whether I need a casual snack or a full-service meal, TASTY CATERING always goes above and beyond. And the food ... OUTSTANDING! We have tried lots of different menus, and they have all been .. well .. TASTY. The name truly fits. I work with Kristen Banks (buffet style setups) and Hannah Malovan (served meals) to set things up. Both of these women are so wonderful. They are friendly and professional. They offer solutions, take initiative, and really shine. And every delivery person or service staff member who has been sent to us has been great. I cannot recommend TASTY CATERING enough. As I've said many times, TASTY makes me look so good. Everyone raves about the food no matter what I choose.

We had Tasty Catering provide the delicious food for our family reunion at the Cook County Forest Preserve. It was a great day. All the food was delicious. They set up their tents and grills next to our pavilion. Cheese burgers, hotdogs, chicken breasts, all the fixings. Chips, watermelon, and even scrumptious cookies for desert. The servers were fabulous! I can't say enough about the wonderful experience. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

And a bonus: Tasty Catering is one of the pre-approved vendors for CCFP, so no additional
permit was required!

I googled catering services in the area that would deliver to our reception and Tasty Catering was one of about three. I got in contact with them and Amanda immediately went to work with me to determine the best selections for our appetizer delivery. She even reached out when they had to substitute and app, which was going from deviled egg bites to deviled eggs...no big deal! Though, as the blushing bride, I wasn't able to sample the appetizers served, I have had NUMEROUS compliments on how the appetizers (specifically the cold sandwiches) were the best some have ever had...the groom being one of them. THANK YOU for your prompt responses, on-time delivery and follow-up after our event. I wish I had our reception photos already so I could post a photo of how the setup looked.
